Below are the steps and tutorial videos to help you complete the Twist and Planished Ring
1. Use the electric or hand drill to twist the 9 inches of 16 gauge nickel silver into a straight and even twist.
2. Use HARD SOLDER to solder the twist from loop to end (check it with the magnified loupe for completion before moving on)
3. SIZING: (the regular + 1.5 rule DOES NOT APPLY!)
Use the ring sizer to determine the circumference of your LEFT RING FINGER. Follow this formula to allow room for the planishing step!
- IF your finger is a size 9 OR SMALLER = measure the paper length AT YOUR RING SIZE
- IF your finger is larger that a size 9 = YOU MUST SUBTRACT ONE RING SIZE!
- IF your finger is a size 9 OR SMALLER = measure the paper length AT YOUR RING SIZE
